Forgot Password / Change Password

Gamma Earth doesn't have a change-password setting inside the app. To change your password, or to set a new one if you've forgotten it, request a password reset email.

This applies to accounts created with an email address and password. If you sign in with Continue with Google, your Gamma Earth account has no separate password, and no reset email is sent to it. Manage your password in your Google account instead.

Before You Start

If you're logged in, log out first: click the Logout icon in the sidebar, then click Log out to confirm. The login page doesn't open while you're logged in.

Reset Your Password

1. Go to app.gamma.earth/login.
2. Enter the email address of your account in the Email address field.
3. Click Forgot password?. If the email field is empty, you see: "Enter your email address to reset your password."
4. On the next screen, your email address is already filled in. Click Reset password.
5. On the Forgot Your Password? screen, check your email address and click Continue. Gamma Earth sends you an email with instructions to reset your password.
6. Open the email and follow the instructions to create a new password. It must meet the password requirements below.
7. Go back to app.gamma.earth/login and log in with your new password.

Password Requirements

Your new password must contain:

• At least 8 characters
• At least 3 of the following:
  • Lower case letters (a-z)
  • Upper case letters (A-Z)
  • Numbers (0-9)
  • Special characters (e.g. !@#$%^&*)

If the Email Doesn't Arrive

• Check your spam or junk folder.
• Make sure you entered the same email address you registered with.
• If you registered with Continue with Google, no reset email is sent. Manage your password in your Google account.
• Request the reset again from step 1.
